I guess we are never going to find out the details but it would be interesting to know if eBay&#039;s bounce rates are increasing. Although customers can drill down the search results using different criteria I&#039;m sure the initial page of results presented to a buyer are extremely important and if they are not good maybe the buyer won&#039;t bother trying to refine the search.

The trouble for eBay is (unlike Royal Mail) that there is plenty of very real competition in the fixed price/new goods market place. Winning back lost customers is not always easy.</description>
