JD says that a $2 billion price tag for Skype is “low”: he refuses to say what valuation eBay would be looking for but “I think it’s worth a lot and I think the numbers speak for themselves.”

David Spitz looks at the rise in shoppers looking for coupon codes: it’s certainly worth setting a few of these free into the wild if you have an ecommerce site to promote. [Disclosure: David is the COO of ChannelAdvisor, who are advertisers with TameBay.]

Should Meg Whitman’s time at eBay help or hinder her bid to become CA’s governor? The eBayers in the comments think they know the answer.

    whirly says:

JD – “I think it’s worth a lot and I think the numbers speak for themselves.” Classic George Bush.

Spitz – Certainly seen some success with buyers using the eBay voucher codes this week, not used mine yet but 10% is a handy chunk of change.

Meg – fraud, forgery, over spending, taxes, she sounds like a perfect candidate to become Governor.
