4/08/2008 at 12:16
eBay UK have announced a half-price listing day for this Thursday, 7th August. Auctions and Buy It Now have their insertion fees cut to 50% of the normal price; media categories which have their own price structure are also included.
The normal exclusions – Motors, real estate, mobile phones with contracts, SIF and multiple item listings – apply, and all other fees will still be charged as normal.

Guess eBay think that business will be slow during the Olympics! I was also amused to note that the half prices that don’t end in whole numbers are being rounded down – guess the comments made about the CLD in Belgium struck home!

Maybe its just me but I’d have thought ebay sales would rise during the Olympics because theres nothing on TV to watch.

too right!
folks running around in circles, and dancing about on bits of wood,
bore me rigid

Oh well! As the best worst stand ups always say, “Just me, then?”

It’s hardly worth taking advantage of this because in 7 and 10 days time, ebay will be saturated with listings. There’s more cake, but more sellers taking a piece of it…. if you know what I mean!!
