hi chris,

'' why make it ....'' - got it and agree!

fyi - arrived at adword, via gumtree 'featured' option research.

wondered if you had any info' re sales conversions via the adword route & any views in general?

do have concerns similar to your points made.
shall trial adword (in moderation) and look at gumtree direct as tipped.

best regards,
justin time

Why would you spend time/money placing ads to go to your eBay shop? If you're listing on Gumtree or a similar site just sell direct with no fees. Don't make it harder for a potential Gumtree customer to buy from you than from another Gumtree advertiser ;-)

hi chris,

thanks for the tips - please keep 'em coming.

if one places ad/offer on another site, with link to an ebay shop, potential buyer has to be/become ebay member to purchase.

is this a hurdle/block to making a sale, what do you think/find ?

inspired by the gumtree tip , we have opened a google adword account!

best regards,

just 'shaved the sheep' in time

Hey Kate come back and let us know how you get on. It'll be interesting to know what products it works well for as well as those (if any) that it's not so suitable for
