I'm running normally again. Just now paid for 2 eBay auctions without any problems. Hopefully that's the end of the problem and everyone else is returned to normal now. Good luck!

[...] Chris at TameBay is having some problems with PayPal and intermittent payment processing. A commenter seems to be having the same problems. I was able to login, but since I did not have any purchases to make or sales to be paid for, I can’t say whether my account is affected. It’s also possible that U.S. accounts are not affected. [...]

I'm having this problem too. I've been able to receive payments, was able to print shipping labels, and am able to use my PayPal debit card, but I cannot make payment on eBay auctions that I have won, or for another item on a site other than eBay which accepts PayPal.

I've had this problem since late Thursday night.

I called PayPal yesterday and was told that while it wasn't a problem all users were having it was a problem that a small segment of users were having. While the rep was trying her best to be helpful, nothing was resolved. In the end her only advice was to keep trying.
