Ztail therapy

This is what I’m talking about: Ztail is a lovely little service that lets you create auction listings, post them to eBay, to classified ads, and to your social networking site or blog. Their database stores the information of thousands of items, so that sellers can create an auction listing, they claim, in under a minute, adding personal details such as condition, shipping rates and item location, as necessary.

I like this idea very much: it seems like joined up thinking, to create the listing and send it both to eBay and to MySpace/Facebook etc. at the same time. It’s what I hoped the rumoured eBay/MySpace tie-up would turn out to be; it’s what eBay To Go wants to be when it grows up.

Ztail is currently very much aimed at casual sellers – it is, if you like, starting with social networkers and adding selling into the mix. However, according to their blog, they are now testing a new widget aimed at Powersellers; I’ll be extremely interested to see how that turns out.
