Check the darn shipping instructions before you bid!

All sellers hate it when someone bids from a location they don’t ship to. To be frank it’s often the sellers fault for not specifying postage to locations they’re willing to send the goods, and even more so for not using their Buyer Preferences to block bidders from locations they don’t ship to. Sometimes the fault is with the buyer – they may have opened their account or used an address in a country that they’re no longer located in.

Mig 21 bought on eBayNow you might be able to forgive a buyer and seller from getting in a tizzy not understanding it costs more to ship an item from the UK to the US or vice versa. You’d think when the item is a MiG-21 Russian Fighter Jet you’d check shipping arrangements if the plane is in Idaho USA and you want it shipped to China! Not so, now the Chinese businessman wants his $2000 deposit against the $24 730 winning bid back! Why? Because it’s impossible to ship a full size fighter plane from the USA to China which is why the seller specified shipping to the US and Canada only.

Sadly the auction is no longer available on eBay to view.
