Irish 1c listing weekend extended to Monday

Sellers on eBay.ie have an extra day to list with insertion fees of only 1c; eBay have just announced that the cheap listing weekend is extended over today as well.

Rather bizarre to announce this at 5pm… do we assume that the two day listing sale didn’t generate quite the listing craziness eBay had hoped for?
