Hi James, thanks for that. I guess it just goes to show that Checkout *is* too young to be even considered for eBay yet. Kinda hard to have it in the US only. I'm surprised they haven't rolled it out further considering how much investment they're throwing at the US market with free processing for sellers and $10 bungs to entice buyers to use it.

Hi Chris. James Scott from ChannelAdvisor UK here.

Just wanted to respond to your post and point out that Google Checkout is not available in the UK.

Whilst it is of course available in the US, the US version cannot process GBP and additionally, as a UK merchant, ChannelAdvisor UK Ltd is not eligible.

As a result, it is not possible for us to offer a Google Checkout payment option on our UK event website.

(We do, however, offer it as a payment option for our US Catalyst event - www.channeladvisor.com/catalyst)

Hope that clears up any confusion!

James.

I know the event is *in* the UK, but it doesn't mean all the attendees will be *from* the UK. Those clamouring for checkout are claiming that buyers want choice, in which case surely companies largely in favour of checkout should be first to provide that choice?
